This article talks about a new software used to enhance video games. The software is called Euphoria and is used to make characters in games interact and have a sense of awareness of what has happened to them. This is a new trend in the advancement and artificial intelligance of video games and that is in fact better for gamers as they could interact more with the game and have different choices of what they should do in different events instead of when games started, brainlessly move around.

Criteria D

The biggest problem with the internet is shopping is basically, the internet. The internet isn’t secure enough for the public to use as a normally. It is as dangerous as withdrawing money from an ATM machine in the middle of the night, where your money could get robbed and the same thing could happen to credit cards, which could be hacked easily. So, obviously, the best solution is to make it more secure. But how? As internet security is mostly based on encryptions when data is being sent, the encryptions could be hacked no matter how complex they are, but there is a type of encryption which uses unbreakable codes which have proven to be very secure. However, these codes are rarely used as they are inconvenient and expensive, but that’s how everything starts, very expensive but its price goes down till it reaches “public affordability”. If these codes would be used by companies, the internet would be very secure that nearly all people with internet and credit cards would use it to shop online. Another solution to the problem for these online companies to open shops around the world (such as Amazon), where people would be able to go to these shops and order whatever items they need personally and pay by cash to the salesperson instead of using a credit card over the internet. A second advantage with that is that the company itself would communicate more safely as the orders sent to the main company from the shops is just simple, unrestricted words so that if it was hacked, the hacker would receive names of products instead of credit card information. Basically, the advantages would be: people paying by cash instead of credit card, faulty products could be returned to the shop instead of going through a lot of trouble sending it back to the company and lastly, it is hack proof.

Criteria C

As broadband internet and improved services in online retail websites, online shopping is becoming a more convenient way for anyone that basically has internet and a credit card. People buy from the internet because there are competitive deals on lots of retail websites that are a few clicks away from each other rather than the traditional way, which is searching around local stores and wasting a lot of time (Thompson, 2008). Another advantage is from the recent increase in the price of gas for cars which made transportation a difficult choice and because of that, there has been a 7.4% decrease in sales at stores, which concludes that more people are already encouraged to buy from the net and as reports say that people are uncomfortable to drive to stores for hours because of gas (Rosenbloom, 2008). But what is stopping more people from shopping using the internet is the question of how secure websites are from hacking and phishing which could lead up to identity theft and unreliability of these websites. Due to that, 60% of customers only research online for information they need about items like price and performance but they would prefer going to an actual shop and physically buy an item. That is also a matter of reliability as these items could be faulty or malfunctioning when shipped and these items bought from the internet would need a lot to be taken through a lot of trouble before they can be returned and fixed, therefore people would rather buy from stores just for that case. Criteria B

Internet security is mostly used to prevent identity theft by hackers accessing customer accounts that contain private information about users such as credit card information and social security numbers. Internet security uses encryptions to keep personal information and accounts safe. Encryptions send information by using algorithms or simply by sending codes that a few people know about. Encryptions are used to keep passwords safe and that’s when hackers use software programs. Hackers use programs to decrypt passwords and the way these programs work is by using trial and error and generating every possible combination to gain access. (Strickland, 2008)Sometimes when people don’t find what they want to buy on reliable internet sites such as Amazon, they find other websites or advertisements throughout the internet that seem real to trust but turn out to be fake. When you buy from these websites, the people that you bought from would cause identity theft and stealing from your credit card and leaving no traces behind of where they are or they would actually move from around countries so that the police cannot find them.
